Age Limit – Candidates age should be between 18-42 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ BC/ EBPG/ SBC & for PHC General Candidates relaxable by 5 years (10 years for SCs/ BCs) & others as per rules.
Educational Qualification Details
PGT Biology – M.Sc. Zoolog,l Botany / Bio-Sciences / Bio-Chemistry / Genetics / Micro-Biology / Plant Physiology / Bio-Technology / LifeSciences / Molecular Bio with at least 50% marks provided that applicant had studied Botany &, Zoology at Graduation Level and B.Ed.from recognized university
PGT Chemistry – M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with at least 50%o marks and B.trd.from recognized university
PGT Commerce – M.Com. with Accounting/Cost accounting/financial accounting as a major subject of study with at least SOok marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university. Holders of Degree of M.Com in Applied/BusinessEconomics shall not be eligible.
Computer Science – M.Sc Computer Science (Regular two-year course)/MCA (Regular threeyear course)/ BE/B.Tech. Computer Science/Computer Engg./lT(Regular course) with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university
PGT English – M.A. English with at least 507o marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.
Fine Arts – M.A. Fine Arts with at least 5O7o marks and B.Ed from recognizeduniversity.
PGT Hindi – M.A, Hindi with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
PGT History – M.A. History with at least 507o marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
PGT Mathematics – M.A. Mathematics/ M.Sc. Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation level with at least 507omarks and B.Ed. from a recognized university
PGT Music – M.A Music with at least 50% marks and B.Ed from a recognized university
PGT Physical Education – M.A. Physical education with at least 50%o marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
PGT Urdu – M.A. Urdu with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
Selection Process – Candidates will be selected based on written examination/ interview.

- Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience10 Marks
Experience – One-half (=0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six-month of experience, out of a maximum of sixteen years, on the same or a higher post in any department / Board / Corporation / Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana. No marks shall be awarded for any period of less than six months.
Application Fee – Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for General Category & DESM/DFF of General Category (Rs. 125/- for SC/ BC/ Ex-servicemen/ Women/ SEBC/ EBC in General Castes Category of Haryana State only. The fee should be deposited through Net banking or e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala, Punjab National Bank and IDBI Bank etc. available on payment site, after 48 hours of registration of online application form. Candidates are advised to choose their mode of payment i.e. Net banking or e-Challan while applying online.
How to Apply – A candidate whether he belongs to General or reserved category viz. SC, BCA, BCB, SBC, EBPG, ESM/DESM, DFF, PHC or OSP can submit only one online application form for a particular category of the post advertised. The special instructions for online applications as given on website www.hssc.gov.in must be carefully read to help in understanding and filling in the application form. No offline form will be accepted. All the relevant columns of the application form should be filled in.
